How should we worship? Bruce discusses how our body, mind, and spirit all can and should engage fully in the worhsip of our Maker. He also outlines the many biblical approaches to worshiping God with all our strength.
Why do we worship? What does it accomplish in our hearts when we worship? How are worship and praise different, and how can we use them differently as we approach God in worship? These questions and more are explored by Bruce in part 2 of this series!
Two-Part Class on Holy Spirit Baptism and The Gift of Tongues Postponed One Week Because of the snow coming Tues. and Wed., the Barn is postponing our first session on Holy Spirit Baptism and The Gift of Tongues for one week. We will now hold this two-session class on Thurs., Feb. 18th and Thurs., Feb. 25th. Start time still 7 PM. If you need childcare, please notify the office so we can arrange it. Thanks. Vineyard USA churches have many relationships with ministries in Haiti and the Dominican Republic (on the same island). Our Eastern Region overseer, Phil Strout, and his assistant are there now to coordinate Vineyard's efforts to rebuild. We have been asked to pray, and to give in a unified way, that reduces costs and targets needs. By sending donations to one fund, this can be accomplished.
1. Just write a check to "Vineyard USA" and put "Mercy Response" in the memo line.
2. Put the check in with our regular tithe offering, or send it to the office. We will collect these funds and send them to the central Vineyard USA office.

What does the Bible tell us about how God’s people can worship Him? Are praise and worship the same? Is worship a righteous duty to please God or does it personally benefit me? When should we intentionally make a decision to go to God in worship? What is extravagant worship anyway? These questions and more will be answered through the extravagant worship series, and Bruce kicks it off an inspirational discussion of "what" worship is!
Why are resolutions so hard to keep? Bruce discusses the biblical foundation of grace we need in order to set goals and achieve them in our spiritual lives.
Freedom Outreach has a new building! Now we need to furnish it! Kids from the city are already attending several weekly bible studies in the building.
